Paris Hilton can finally shed tears of relief, for she’s once again a free bird.

The Hilton hotel heiress has been released from the Century Regional Detention Center where she was doing time for violating her probation terms by driving on a suspended license.

``The Simple Life'' star walked through the doors of the facility at noon and headed straight for a black Escalade SUV, in which her parents Rick and Kathy Hilton were waiting.

She had already dumped her orange jumpsuit after being allowed to change into a spring coat with a white shirt underneath that her mother had brought along, reports the New York Post.

Paris' eyes welled up with tears, as she screamed out:``Mom!'' and hugged her mother.

And they also seemed to have taken to heart her plea for some ‘real food’ for they had gotten her a food snack wrapped in aluminim foil and a bouquet of flowers.

"She fulfilled her debt. She was obviously in good spirits. She thanked people as she left," the Post quoted said sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore, as saying.

Hilton is set to make her first public appearance after her prison stint tomorrow on ``Larry King Live'' on CNN.

Paris was ordered to spend 45 days in jail by Judge Sauer for violating her probation. The sentenced was reduced to 23 days, but shortly after she entered prison, she was put under house arrest after suffering a breakdown.

A furious Judge Sauer then ruled that Hilton had to spend her term in jail and had her moved back to the facility after barely a day of house arrest. He also ruled that she had to now spend the entire 45-day sentence in jail.

However, the ruling was changed soon after, and the sentence was once again lowered to 23 days.
